1)The front page of the guardian’s main article is on the ‘Paradise papers’ and it is particularly highlighting the the queen's involvement, the headline is “Queen's cash invested in controversial retailer accused of exploiting the poor.” The front page also advertises stories about Justin Trudeau, who has also been accused of being named in the paradise papers. As well as this the front page advertises a story with the title “How silicon valley was funded by Russia.”
The headline for the daily mail was “Queen dragged into 10 million offshore tax row.”
This is a another use of sensational words, the word ‘dragged’ portrays the queen in a sympathetic manner and implies that she wasn't solely responsible for the incident. On this front page the amount of money mentioned, as 10 million. The blame is lowered as on the right of the picture an image of13 year old girl worth 5 million is shown, this somewhat plays down the intensity of the incident, and shows that 10 million pounds isn't actually that much considering it is the queen. There is a big advertisement about dieting on the front page of the dailymail, this contrasts with the guardian as the guardian has no advertisements.

2)The front page features one large image of a gold coin with the queen's face on it. This is highlighting the fact that although the Queen has such high position in society, she is; as the newspaper has written “exploiting the poor.” This image of the coin emphasises the fact that if the Queen is doing this many other people have also used the loophole, and that the system is corrupt. A font that is smaller than ‘11’ is used on the front page, as such a smaller font is used so much information about the incident can be fitted on the front page. There are also two more smaller images at the bottom of the page, an image of a palm tree which highlights the fact that this loophole did not take place on British soil, and an image of a table which shows what amount of data has been released and when. Apart from these three images there are no others, and there are no advertisement on the front page, most space is dedicated to sheer information about the topic. The daily mails blame is lowered as on the right of the picture an image of 13 year old girl worth 5 million is shown, this somewhat plays down the intensity of the incident, and shows that 10 million pounds isn't actually that much considering it is the queen. There is a big advertisement about dieting on the front page of the dailymail, this contrasts with the guardian as the guardian has no advertisements.

3)The Queen is portrayed in a negative manner in this paper possibly as the newspapers target audience is somewhat left wing and is not as supportive of the monarchy. The headline is  “Queen's cash invested in controversial retailer accused of exploiting the poor.” The words, ‘controversial, exploiting and poor’ are all uses of sensual language, used to create sympathy for those ‘poor’ people who have ‘suffered’ due to the ‘controversial’ retailer that the queen has ties with. This created sympathy portrays the Queen in an unsympathetic manner. The front page also features one large image of a gold coin with the queen's face on it. This is highlighting the fact that although the Queen has such high position in society, she is; as the newspaper has written “exploiting the poor.” The fact that “Queens cash” is written is implying that the Queen has ‘direct’ responsibility for the incident and thus portrays her in a negative way.
As the Daily mail has  a more right wing target audience, it portrays the queen in a positive manner, writing “dragged and” “offshore” in the headline. Dragged implies that the Queen should be sympathised with and was less responsible for the incident while the word “offshore” creates a sense of detachment between the issue and the Britain. This is effective as it takes the Blame of the British system and portrays the Monarchy, and other elite institutions in a positive innocent manner.

4) The guardian portrays the Queen and institution in a negative manner, through the image of the of the coin that implies that the whole system has been involved in the scandal, and that the system is corrupt, while the daily mail uses words such as “dragged and” “offshore” to detach the British system and monarch from the issue.
As the Guardian was directly involved in the investigation it has much more content compared to the daily mail, and even features a table with the size of the informations files. As the Daily mail was not as involved in the investigation it does not feature nearly as much content, and certainly more tables. The daily mail is simply covering the investigation thus does not has as much content.

5) The Queen is portrayed in a negative manner in this paper possibly as the newspapers target audience is somewhat left wing and is not as supportive of the monarchy.
However as the Daily mail has  a more right wing target audience, it portrays the queen in a positive manner as the right tend to sympathise more with the monarchy.

6) The headline is  “Queen's cash invested in controversial retailer accused of exploiting the poor.” As the guardian is emphasising that the poor are being mistreated and in turn fulfilling the left wing view of a fairer society that appeals to their target audience.
They use words such as “dragged” to play down the queen's involvement, and their image showing a 13 year old girl worth five million to show that the “10million” the Queen invested is not really a lot. They use words such as “dragged” to play down the queen's involvement, and their image showing a 13 year old girl worth five million to show that the “10million” the Queen invested is not really a lot.

7) The Guardian is more sensual, as language such as  “Queen's cash invested in controversial retailer accused of exploiting the poor.” The words, ‘controversial, exploiting and poor’ are all uses of sensual language, used to create sympathy for those ‘poor’ people who have ‘suffered’ due to the ‘controversial’ retailer that the queen has ties with.

8) Stereotypes can benefit newspapers because it makes it easier for them to get their point across and make it easier for readers to understand the topic. Stereotypes also increase the sensation of the topic by enabling the reader to relate what is being talked about to other topics in their lives. However the use of stereotyping encourages discrimination and generalisation. It can also paint the newspapers in a negative less professional light.
The guardian uses stereotyping when it

9) Technology enables a more detailed and in depth portrayal of information. For example The guardian shows an animated image of a pound coin that is a metaphor for the financial corruption taking place in the system. Technology has also enabled The Guardian to
